Gold charms

One of the problems people have with gold charms on charm bracelets is that these charms are prone to fall off from time to time. In the case that the charms continue to fall off, modifications can be made. One looking to make these modifications should:

• Find jewelry pliers – In order to alter the gold charms so that they will stay in place, jewelry pliers will be needed to fix them. It is important that jewelry pliers are used and not regular pliers. Regular pliers have a tendency of being a little too strong for the job. This sometimes causes unnecessary damage. These pliers can easily be found at arts and crafts stores.

• Get a ring
– Usually the problem when gold charms fall off is that the jump ring is loose. One hoping to fix this will need to buy a new jump ring (little metal circle). These also can easily be found at arts and crafts stores.

• Open the ring
– Take the pliers and place them on the side where there is an opening on the ring. Then, one should use another set of pliers in his or her other hand. Push away so the ring opens and attach the gold charms.

This will help to secure the gold charms on a bracelet. If the charms are secured, there is much less of a risk that they will fall off. Even when one is running, playing or dancing, there is much less risk of the gold charms falling off if they have been properly tightened.
